Shows you what a poor diet and poor conditions can do to an animal...

Most I'm sure will admit... that is one nice looking Leopard tortoise.

Hey guys, just a quick update on Maverick. The last 2 days have seen a massive change in him, probably down to the lovely weather. He's been coming and going from his house into the garden when ever he feels, he's been stomping all over the garden. He's even been eating the grass, although if I put any on his plate he ignores it, only seems to like the grass he 'plucks' himself.

I don't think any animal has made me as excited or smile as much as he has over last couple of days

Hey guys, not been on here for a while so thought id throw a quick update in. Our tort is doing really well, he now has full run of garden and not just a penned area. He has put on about 180 grams in weight and is full of life. Loves being cuddled, always falls asleep on my wife and snores!!!!

He has also gone through a name change, my little lad who's only 18 months old couldnt say Maverick and always called him Maboo, so its stuck and we actually prefer it!!

Will try and get some more recent pics of him up soon
