Hi Alan,
I am not 100% sure but would have thought they were similar to the box turtles like sandy keeps. dan would probably be the best man to answer your question Alan.

Here is a quote sandy made about a 3 toed Box Turtle
He is a three toed box turtle, not to be confused with turtles<g>. They are kept very similar to tortoises, except they like humidity, snails, slugs and meal worms to eat. When they are scared they do box up<g>. They live on the land, but do like to dip in water about three to four inchs deep. They hibernate outside here in Kent. __________________ < > 61, keeping ibera, graeca and box turtles \0/ /_\ http://groups.yahoo.com/groups/tortoisefriends It might be of a little help.

They are just as terrestrial as North American box turtles, so the set-up would be very similar. They are really nice turtles once you get them over the hump of being imported.

They are so colourful and pretty.
However do they survive in a place like Vietname being so colourful? |
