Coconut husk fiber is fine for redfoots Lisa It would depend on what bark is in the nature bark, as to whether it's all right or not.

Lisa repti bark is best for indoor enclosures especially for the little ones , outdoor I would use childrens playground chips these are safe and don't break down quickly.

Never used coconut fibre so can't comment there

next question then where do you get it from

just found one place but they wanted £8.24 + £12.99 for postage for Zoo Med Repti Bark (8.8 litre bag) not sure if that is good or bad

It is expensive Lisa but doesn't break down very quickly last ages, it can also be soaked in F10 and re-used.
Most reptile shops sell it .

The play bark is avialable from BQ not sure on price though.

I use cypress mulch, which is safe and holds moisture well. I get it at Home Depot or Lowes, which you guys in the UK probably don't have, but any garden supply place should have it. Unless for some reason it's hard to import to the UK or something.
