They WILL eat ANYTHING if given the chance .miami walked across the floor (well ran really!) dragging a yorkshire pudding out of the dogs bowl! hmmmm They eat in the garden when its hot enough |

This is your problem way to much fruit. This time of year my lot only get weeds they may get a treat of fruit once or twise a month in the spring/summer period. In the winter i give them mainly fruit as weeds are hard to come by. You have to think wild would they come across fruit all the time in the wild? No because its not always growing.
I rescued a red foot adult from a flat and she was only fed on bananas for 4 years her poo was horrible. I had a 6 month battle getting her on a normal diet but we got there and now does solid poo's. God knows what damage it has done to her insides. I also got a rehomer red foot in last weekend, feed on cat foot and some lettuce and kept in a horrid vivarium. Her poo's are horrible the smell yuck. Now on a weed diet so we will see how they are. Here is an artical from the tortoise trust http://www.tortoisetrust.org/article..._redfoots.html What suppliements are you using?

There are plently around this time of year, dandelion, plantain, mallow, clover etc or you can get any of the seeds i sell on ebay. 3/4 of a carrier bag of weeds lasts me a day with all my tortoises ( i keep other tortoises also) so i have to go weed picking.
Have a look at this http://www.tlady.clara.net/TortGuide/Diet.htm#plantlist Do you use any vitamins?
