Just before xmas we got in two large leopard torts in, both have been wormed but one is eating very little. Have tried alsorts of food but think part of the problem is that they where fed on dried tort food. Yeah i know how poo that is but no matter what ive tried, nothing is working. They are warm enough etc as the other is eating like a trooper. Any ideas folks? Shes going the vets this Thursday for help!

Hi Denise,
It might be the dried tort food or you might want to look into a protozoan infestation. That will make a tortoise go off food also. It's fairly easy to get rid of and the medication has the side effect of giving the tortoise an appetite. The medication is Flagyl (metronidazole) . Ask the vet about it.

No it isn't Denise Panacure is for worms. Protozoans are single celled animals.
