The freecycle finished shed
just some pictures showing how we insulated the shed, the blue thing on the wall is the Snuggle bed heater and the bedding is that new Equisorb I mentioned, there are 2 sides divided by the planks the other side is the same size both are 4ft x 3ft approx, both have doorways into the garden, the only cost was the polystyrene which was about £20 as we had everything else laying around, never throw anything out.

It looks really good! What wattage is the snuggle bed heater? I might get one myself if cheap to run, let us know the night temp after you've had it on

sorry just had a look and it says Snuggers & Co on it, don't know the wattage but it measures 22 inch x 15 inch so I'll see if they have a web site, I'm going to run it tonight and see what the temps are, will let you know tommorrow.

Looks great Ann, just a thought, you may want to put some wood around the bottom part of the polystyrene so the torts can't touch it. From experience they like to dig their claws in and climb up it, as well as trying to burrow into it!
