Best current Merc Vapour bulb

Hi guys not been on for ages. My 100w megaray has just gone and bust so need a replacement sharpish. It was my second megaray and lasted well over 12 months so I'm overall pleased with it. Is this still the bulb to go for as I'm struggling to find a place to buy one. Spotted the Arcadia D3 on shelled shop. How do they compare? Cheers

The Arcadia D3 combined bulbs are generally thought of as the best combined bulbs out there. I mean...MR's still are pretty good too, and there are some members using the Arcadia T5 strips which have comparable UVB output to the combined bulbs but on a strip so you get more coverage. You will need a starter, basking heat bulb etc - if you choose that route. I'm sure you'll get plenty of opinions on both avenues.

Arcadia 160w is the best I've had and that includes Mega-Ray. Been running continuously for over two and a half years and they are still producing good UVB levels
