A little help! :]
Hai there, i was posting on your site about a month or so ago, mightve been longer about my little horsefield sandor, after getting more than enough info about my worries i took him to the vet to which the poor little guy had to stay with them for over a week, he was badly riddled with parasites!
Hes over a million percent now! getting like a mad man! and eating like a boss! Only ive been noticing hes been bobbing his head and shifting his arms back and forth, the vet said he didnt notice anything wrong with the little guy and hes 100% clear of the parasites now. Also on a weird note, he was sleeping with his head laying out on his soil, i panic'd and had to wake him up xD (he looks rather dead : {) Could anyone perchance give me a little more info on the head bobbing and is it normal for him to sleep like that? O.o Little more info Hes perchance about a year (the pet shop didnt no his age, hes about the size of a bar of soap!) He is perhaps not a he... but for the time being and to annoy my gf who constantly calls him she i shall call him he! Hes fairly active, he stomps about alot and digs random holes then forgets about them Anything else needed to know please ask! |

Sounds like he is breathing, they dont have a diaphragm like us, so use their legs, and head, like bellows to breath, sometimes its more noticeable than others...
And its normal to sleep like that

Same here
I thought my THH was dead shortly after I bought him for the same reasons.
Scared the stuff out of me too Today i found him climbing which is rare so I went to get my phone for a pic and when I got back 10 seconds later he was on his back and wedged! No way could he right himself, glad I wasn't at work today! |

Aha sandor often moves stuff about his table so he can get in the side of his house and the outer table and often ends up stuck in between things xD

When Elvis started getting to be mature he would stomp round and head bob to a big round stone he then went on to mount it after a few weeks. Depending on how old he is if He is a He it could just be that he's becoming mature. I got Elvis some girlfriends lol He now likes them better than his rock :0) You could put a picture of the under side of his shell and the lovely experts on here will be able to help you find out his sex.
