Tilly's certainly got a nice meal there!
It's hard to ascertain her size from the photos - is she one of the larger types?

Interesting pics EquestrianBabe.
I've never thought of snails as pets, but I'm looking at the last photo and thinking - that's interesting. The name suits her as well!!! How long do they live for? Crwban

Your snail looks so sweet
I like snails... as a child I used to look after garden snails, I'd feed them my mums veg and spray them with water every so often... I let them go again after a couple of weeks though.

@ Emma - Tilly is a giant African land snail, she's quite big, fits my whole hand, and weighs more than most of our tortoises ! She is 350-380 g at the minute.
@ Alan - Yep, its a good Sunday dinner She gets a lot of veg, on Christmas I plan to try her on some chicken, and I'll be making some 'cakes' out of cut up carrot, broccoli etc. <3 is a heart shape. @Crwban - They can live for 5 - 10 years. Tilly is coming 3 @ Mrs Cross - I started with them, I remember having a huge fishtank full of them, I had over 40 and then one day I let them all go. We put them in the gardeners plants @ Rocio - Not my Tilly
