Can you please identify these for me? All of them Greek but what subspecies?

Dandelion they are beautifully marked babies showing characteristic carapce markings of north African Tgg and some showing markings seen in Middle eastern Tgi are they clutch mates or all from seperate area/locations .

They do look like Middle easterns in shape rather then Tgg mind.

They dont look exactly like my TGI, but they do in some ways?? I am flumoxed.

No these are not from my friend with mixed species. These are my son's! He got them from the pet shop cheaply, I have been to the pet shops too and tortoises get sold out really quickly!!

I don't think they are 'anything', they are most probably Wild Caught and pure breed.

Piglet, when you say they look more Middle-Eastern, does that mean Jordanian?

By the way, the first tortoise used to be more blonde, as you can see the shell is becoming darker. Can anyone clarify?

Hi Dandelion,
Yes they all look like Jordanian greeks, which have a very wide carapace coloration (depending on where they come from and the elevation). I have ones that range from almost black to almost all yellow.

Your son is very lucky!! I had to wait years before I was allowed to get one tortoise and he has bought 10 in one go! Lucky him They are beautiful tortoises. Joanne xx

He take cares of them properly, he is responsible. He saved their little lives, that's a great thing! And there is room for them too.
