african black turtle
Hi i went to a garden center today and when i went there they had an aquatics shop which i went into and saw the most cutest turtle i fink it was called a african black turtle i was wondering are they expensive and what sort of requirements do they need??

thanks dan i was wondering do you have any of these turtles?
and also i no you have alot of turtles and tortoises are turtles hard to keep?

Hi Charlie,
I don't have any right now, but I have raised up a few hatchlings. It's not too hard to do just keep the water clean and warm. Water turtles aren't as hard as tortoises, just more work keeping the water clean. Dan

ok i but i would of thought that they would be more work because of the wright water temperature ass you keeping the water clean and other things and thanks for your help

Its easy to keep a constant water temprature with an aquarium heater and thermostsat or something similar.
