Default Bikini weather here today!

Unbelievably warm here today with my new thermometer showing 29 C in the sun at 3.30pm. Frank and Julie have been outside since 11am and when I went to their run to give them some more grub a young snake rippled across the run, slipped under Julie and popped up and over the brickwork to escape into the cactus border. It was about 2 feet long and was,I think, a young whip snake.

Would have really scared me seeing a snake. Do you see them often?

Can't wait untill I go abroad in August. Better get dieting though if I'm going to be wearing my bikinis lol

Well there are quite a few snakes on our finca but none are dangerous. The only poisonous one is a Montpelier snake and is a back- fanged snake with fairly weak venom so couldn´t really do any damage unless you were a mouse or rat so no probs! The one I saw the other day has, I believe, no teeth even---could be wrong on that, will have to check. There are vipers in Spain but not where we are. August is a lifetime away!!!

Like us, I expect your D- day will start soon (Diet day! )
