I got mine from Maplin - they seem to often have good deals on them - i think i paid about £18-20 and seems to work perfectly well for my needs

got a little yellow one from amazon, cheapest and good reviews - just put in IR thermometer - and bobs you uncle about £9.00 odd. Didn't need massive temp ranges as would never have that but it said it was professional. Couldn't do without it testing water temp etc, CB

Did you get one Suze? any good? I use mine loads for lots of things, like testing the radiator is hot. there is hot and then there is 'girlie' hot - proven with the IR.
There is also , my guinea pigs can't possibly eat this it is near frozen..Girlie proven. and wheres their heat sacks , they aren't hot enough too. Again. Girlie proven backed up appropriately with technology. CB
