This just seems so unfair! Are you in Swindon or did you have to go back to JR? I know we keep on saying it but surely this must be the last time. Am thinking about you and look forward to hearing that you have some good news at last. xx

Glad you had Christmas fully at home this year, Gordon.
Good luck with the op. Sending lots of happy and quick-healing thoughts for you for 2020. xx

I'm at Swindon Mary I refused to go back to John Radcliffe.
Well I went down hill very quickly after speaking to you earlier got to hospital nearly passed out so got a bed straight away and had all the usual stuff done and the surgeon even had a prod about with a swab and said he couldn't find any holes going anywhere so I told him to prod a bit harder so he did and sure enough it went pop and all sorts of nasty smelling stuff came out which made the two nurses that were there nearly gag. So with arriving and getting an operation took 5 hours I'm not sure what they have done but I now have two drains in which one is now right around on my side and they have opened up the last cut again but not sure how much yet. |

Sounds so horrid but glad it was all done swiftly. Hope you soon feel better. You barely seem to recover from one op before the infections start and you need another. Maybe a change of hospital will make a huge difference and they’ve done something differently and got rid of the bad stuff.
xx

Get well soon, Gordon. What you're going through is no fun. (Good on you for telling them to probe harder!)
