Anyone good at laptops??

Hi everyone,

Some of you know about my mini laptop I now use, which I got for Christmas 2009 but have only started using around the middle of March and beginning of April due to the Internet not working on it. And I now have one problem; the software used to get photographs on isn't installed. Do any computer experts out there have any ideas of how to do this? If a disc is needed, no can do. The laptop doesn't take discs- theres nowhere to put them in.

The software could be available to download from the manufactures website.. Ususally is so I'd look there first...

Failing that you could copy what is on the disc to a memory stick using a computer with a disc drive in....

Put the memory stick in the laptop and look for a setup.exe or instal.exe in the files you copied from the disc.. This will install the program as normal

Thanks, that makes perfect sense, I am going straight to the manufactures website right away, good idea. I'll let you know if it's on the manufactures webbie or not.

rather than trying the website of the photo program why not just ask google or your search bar, I use a program called serif and that was free to download, just ask for free downloadable photo sites and see what it says.

Cool, thanks PG I'll have a little search on eBay also and see what I find I'll let you know if theres any joy on eBay

If none of these work it may be worth buying an external CD drive - I got mine fairly cheaply and it means I can install anything I need easily

Are you wanting some software to edit photographs? If so easiest one I've used is google picassa...
