The real A10 has to go back, the screen shots of the microchipping details and a sticker with the chip no and barcode on with it. Plus the application form, so you may as well do it all by post.

Make sure you send registered post, as it is likely to get lost in our now rubbish postal system.

I'm going to sandy thanks I always do with important papers. I usually send th special as it happens since it guarantees next day and I know for a fact it's there and have an online signature to prove it. Do it every time I change my reg plate you're right RM suck these days !

I'd still check with Defra that copies are ok, they'll not send them back with registered post or at least they didn't mine, or if they won't then copy everything for yourself.

I'm getting some of my torts microchipped next week and spoke to CITES today regarding applying for their Specimen Specific Certificate. As the old A10certs I have are photocopies from the breeder, they said that's absolutely fine and to just send those in. So apparently photocopies are fine.
