1 is chives, don't think it's edible for torts but is lovely in a salad or scrambled egg.
2 looks like mint as does 3, possibly different kinds of mint. Edible but torts don't usually like strong smelling things. 4 and 5 are Lillies, not edible 6 is strawberry and edible. 7 is horsetail/mares tail, not edible.

Which weeds or flowers have you fed your tortoises on for the last five - seven years then?
Best thing would be to buy a book or go onto a reptuable site for plants - Alan has a link in his posts. The Tortoise Table says what is and isn't edible together with pictures or the RHS website will no doubt have some pictures of weeds etc. |

Mainly just plantain and dandelion leaves but I want to give them more variety.

Ideally a variety of five - seven different weeds and/or flowers daily. There are many suitable ones as a diet of nearly all dandelion leaves is not considered good. Some serious reading/research is needed. If its growing in a pot then its going to have been planted by someone so its not going to be a weed - ok bit of a generalisation there, but you get the gist. |
