definately a THB ?
ive just been reading the identification between the 3 sub species of hermann and cant decide i was told THB years ago but he seems to be odd..
He's 10 years old 5" and weighs 530g. i know the answer is probably going to be yes i just want a totally clear answer

Looks to be, but a photo showing his inguinal scutes would help.

Ill upload one when i get in, it's just he seems to have the key hole and has 2 lower markings in the bottom central scute. That's what thew me !

That I suppose would correspond with the fact he's from Slovenia too since it borders with Croatia.

Thanks danny, he was identified as a THB when i first got him, but wheen i was looking at hermannichris chart on how to identify but when i was on here some years ago there was no herc on the chart is it a sub species thats only turned up in the last 5/6 years or so ?

Its prolly comming from a socalled slowenian farm , since Slowenia dont have a tortoise population. Search the forum for this , there is plenty of threads with a lot of entertainment of the subject "farms".
