I'm hoping to have three eventually and I think I've covered the possibility of three girls! Would be nice to have at least one male though.

To be honest, it's pretty hard to get hold of Texas Map turtles! This one was captive bred in Europe, someone in the UK bought him, and I bought the turtle from them. Texas maps are one of the smallest of the map turtles, the males grow to around 3.5 inches, the females at least twice that size.(depending on which reference you use!).
