i think its great, its simple and does the job, i have a polycarbonate sheet that i have been placing over the little hutch area of the adults shed for over a year to keep the rain off and it hasnt gone greeen at all.
I have 4 pieces of 3ft lengths of decking and never thought of using that, i have a spare sheet of polycarbonate so after seeing this picture i will be making another one, thank you for sharing that picture, great job x

yes i think its ideal, and really simple and cheap to make and you can make one any size required, i will certainly be using the decking pieces and spare polycarbonate now and going to make one of these, i knew the decking boards would come in useful for something, glad i didnt end up chucking it.
I have just purchased 2 wood coldframes for my 2 males for £60, and wish i would have seen this picture first now!!!! But will make a 3ft x 3ft one for around the garden so if my torts are free roaming they can use it x Thank you for the readings as well, very interesting x
