R.I.P Cyril

Today i discovered that Cyril my giant african land snail has passed away.

I thought he was hibernating so have been trying warm baths but i noticed today that inside his shell he had turned black and his shell cracked when i picked him up.

Sorry to hear this. Poor Cyril - they don't seem to do well in the colder weather

My daughter has hers all beside the radiator in her bedroom, which is always warm, they do really struggle in the winter
