Default Should I be supplementing more?

I have an Arcadia 100W D3 combined bulb for my table and sprinkle Calcium flower on the torts food every day, when not feeding pellets which I feed a couple of times a week. Before I got the D3 bulb I was using Nekton MSA everyday but stopped using as I thought they will be getting D3 from the bulb.

Should I also be supplementing with something like Nutrobal or Nekton, to provide 'other vitamins' or could this result in too much D3?

Thanks

if you can get tortie out in the garden to enjoy this weather were having you shouldn't need to supplement with extra d3.the recomended dosage of nutrobal is minute so i cant see any problem with adding some to the food a couple of times a week.calcium carbonate is a must at all times.

Assuming your tortoise is indoors and spending hours every day somewhere near the lamp which is at a suitable height, I personally do not think that additional D3 supplement is required.

I provide quite a lot of uvb indoors and don't add D3 to the diet. And I think mine are doing OK. In the summer months mine spend a lot of time outdoors.

I have taken my torts outside a couple of times since the weather improved. I am currently sorting out an outdoor enclosure. They wont be living out full time but I will be able to leave them out on nice days and bring them back in to sleep.

I was mainly wondering if they needed supplements for 'other vitamins' - other than calcium and D3

They should get other vit's from diet, this could depend on variety of 10-20 plant's mixed and/or a comercial diet like a pellet or pre alpin.
