I have just set up my arcadia d3 uv flood and it excellent so much better than the ordinary uv strip I had
Also have a question though. Where to postion? Middle or to one side?

I like to have the sensor in a middling point, not under the heat. But this does mean that I have to check the temperature under the heat regularly and I use an infrared thermometer to do this. So when I set the stat it is not for the hotspot temperature.

Glad that you like it,
Remember heat and light should be grouped together at one end, cool and shade at the other. The FLOOD will increase in power and brightness over the first 5-7 days as the lamp reaches full power. Fit the lamp around 12-15" from the glass to the top of the shell. John
