Prolome has an itchy or sore leg - Page 2

Suze, please don't think me being a scaremonger but have you seen my post fly strike under general questions. Don't look at the pictures if squeamish!!! he is ok, but the vet told me the reason he got this was because of a cut under his front leg. I didn't know that could make them vulnerable so I am raising awareness. Was trying to ask if anyone else had it but no one has come back.....take care

I've seen some of your post, is your tort ok now. My Ptolome is fine now, I think it was just 3 insect bites. But you are quite right to make people aware.

Glad Ptolome is better suze, and I certainly will be checking the torts and the sheds for this sort of thing, I do anyway, but will keep an eye out more for flys and maggots x

I have been worried about Bertha and her neck rub when she walks. The plaster round her leg eases the soreness but now I have Fly Strike in my head I am dabbing with iodine more often. X x x. Hugs x x x
