Aww, Gorgeous! I had two that looked like that.....
Dee-dee, Was really tame and used to walk around on the carpet. She used to live ontop of her cage and fly to me when I was in any other room, If I was in the bath she'd come and sit on the edge and watch, lol She used to talk alot too, mimic the phone, say hello My son accidently squashed her, he jumped off the sofa and landed on her My next one was Georgie Boy, He was as lovely but never said much at all. He died of old age. They are lovely birds to keep, bet you can't wait to get him xx

Aww bet that was awful for ur son. Was he old enough to remember it?
I had one that was disabled. he had two broken wings and couldnt fly. He lived a long time considering the vet told me he would only live a few years as hes not very fit because he dont fly. I had to have him PTS at the age of 14 years old. So i think he done well. I have a big picture of him on my wall. He was my baby........... I now need a name to go with Echo for my new addition. Any ideals peeps. Want something short thou. We were thinking bout Eric but dont know if it sounds too much like Echo. |

Echo is gorgeous! I'm sure you'll come up with a nice name for the new one.
Looking forward to seeing photos. Lynne, what a sad way for Dee-Dee to go!

Yes it was, Emma. The bird was sooo clever. Could say so much, she also used to fly to the edge of my plate when I was eating and eat abit I had her from very, very young. Think she thought I was her mum. My son was approx 3/4 years old when he squashed her. It was awful. Didn't tell him he had killed her though.

I had a cockatiel called Sammy he was lovely he talked and would mimic the phone ringing would confuse my hubby no end lol
I had to move him into a avery as my boys asthma became worse as they were allergic to the dust off his feathers. He lived many years untill one bonfire night a idiot who lived behind us set off really explosive fireworks the noise was horrendous in the morning i was greeted with a horrible site half my birds had died in one night and he was one of them. I was heartbroke I guess they died of shock I hate bonfire night now |

I hate bonfire night too, some animals get so scared. My dog will not go for walks now because of the fireworks in 2010. She will only go to the park but will not walk around the streets x
