Here is a video of Jimmy, doesn't really do his or Timmy's craziness any justice though! |

That was so funny - his wee legs go so fast!!!!! I watched it twice and giggled the whole time. I'm not feeling too good with a bad cold and that fair cheered me up!!

Bad news, they woke me up a few times last night because I heard screeching noises. This morning I checked on them and Timmy had some dry blood near his back end. Think Jimmy has bit him. I've separated them and now Jimmy is set up in a deep storage box I want to keep them both but I would either have to buy another cage or a buy one big cage with 2 sets of everything like wheel and food bowl etc but there's no guarantee that would work. I rang pets at home this morning and explained they told me to bring 'the bully' back. They've both had their squabbles before and I don't think either of them is a bully... they can both initiate squabbles but I think it got serious last night and Timmy was worst off. Timmy seems to be fine... he was running on his wheel when I woke up but I think the fighting has been since last night till this morning, when Timmy was on his wheel Jimmy kept coming out of the bed and kept starting fights again with Timmy. So I don't think they're ever going to make up now. I would like one of my housemates to keep him but if they don't I'll take Jimmy back to pets at home on thurs after my last exam. I feel bad... like I'm giving on Jimmy but I'd rather not keep them together for the sake of it and end up killing each other.

Best thing to do I think, you did try
When you take him back I just hope they don't try and rehome him with another male again to someone else. hopefully one of your friends will take him on

Hey Lynne, I have had success, a nice girl off my course is taking him on. She is so keen shes gone to pets at home now to get him a cage!!
I am relieved he isn't going back to pets at home as hes used to living in hamster luxury here and pets at home isn't! |
