bedding

Hi

just wondering what everyone uses for bedding in there hides, i have two hermanns and was thinking of trying readi grass from the SW shop. Anyone tried it what's it like?

Any other ideas what could be used as bedding, just something as a bit of additional heat for the winter months.

I use readigrass. Smells like tea. Opal seems to like it!

I used redi grass and wouldn't use it again (posted a topic a while ago) my male Hermanns kept getting it in his eyes and when he flashed took alot of it back inside him!

I don't use anything in my tortoises hides, I used to use shreded newspaper inside their hides but the got it everywhere lol

I don't use anything but steraliced top soil, my 2 just dig down in that.

Like Marg, I only use the topsoil substrate and they dig down and make themselves warm and comfortable.
