Default Hermans Laying

after a few days of pacing and practice digging my biggest hermans is in the process of laying (3 that I can see so far)

the other girls will be glad shes finally got round to laying as shes been mating them all non stop for 2 days

she's just had a big feed and all is calm again, another of my hermans is eating a lot of cuttle fish as well so she should be laying soon as well as all my females start eating a lot of cuttlefish a week or so before laying

so far 8 eggs in the incubator

7 Hermans and 1 Horsfield, 2 of the 4 Hermans laid about 3 weeks ago look infertile but the other 2 look promising.

checked all the eggs last night.

1st four from the new female (hermans) 1 is fertile but its her first time laying so didn't expect that much from this clutch.

the 1 from the Horsfield looks infertile but again her first clutch as far as I know.

the last 3 (shown in the picture being laid) are all fertile.

so all being well we'll have the patter of tiny feet again soon.

my female no2 has just finished laying 3 eggs as well so a total of

10 Herman eggs
&
1 Horsfield
