2nd pic, could be a Cereus cacti, most of these come from South America, again would say, not edible. Someone may know more on these, The pad type cacti, like the Prickly Pear are the usual fed ones.

Lidl have have these to sell, Assorted Cacti or Succilents, Cassula, Mammillaria, Echeveria, Opuntia, Aloe Broomii, Sedum, Cereus or Echinocactus. Can I feed some or all to Horace?

Hi Some Crassula's, Echeveria is a crassula, and ok, Opuntia should be ok, Sedum except stonecrop, if you buy depends on the variety, posting pics may help. The DEFO ones to not bother for food is, Mammillaria and Echino the round spikey one's, Cereus the tower one's. But make good house cacti

[QUOTE=kukumo;330085]Hi guys! are the below 2 cactus or succulent edible for torts?

The second photo is of a Stapelia plant, I would not feed it to your tortoise but they do have very large flowers ,but the bad side is the flowers smell of rotting meat (to attract flies for pollenation).

Ok thanks also, Stapelia, South African Succulent, could possibly be edible, but would not feed also without say so

Opuntia is OK, but right now I am keeping some plants of it that I have taken bits from. I plan to let them recover. I feel its best to let them have some now and then. Echeveria I think is not poisonous but mine don't eat this, so it makes a nice habitat plant for outside in the pen.
