Sounds really good - where did you get your sample copy from?

With the PFK mag it's geared more towards freshwater tropicals than marines or coldwaters but still contains articles every week just not as many as for freshwater trops
Yeah I think it is from "the same stable". If I remember rightly there was at least one issue of PFK last year that came with a pull-out mini Practical Reptile Keeping magazine. You may be pleased to know that in this 16 page sample copy there is a double page spread about med tortoises. So, fingers crossed there'll be plenty more where that came from!

It is does seem like a pretty good mag to be honest Sylvia. It was sent to me through the post as I work in the pet care industry. Privileges!

Hope so. I don't buy PFK every month now, just now and again

Practical Fishkeeping is published by Bauer Media, Europe's biggest publishing company, while this magazine is published by Kelsey Publishing, a small publisher which specialises in car magazines.

I wish they were doing a Practical Tort magazine, I wonder what the demand would be...

I see that it's Bauer on my most recent PFK magazine but my older ones were published by a Emap Active. There must be some kind of connection though if they were giving away pull-outs of this new reptile mag inside PFK last year

Edit> Emap Active was based in Peterborough and I see that Bauer is too so Emap must have been taken over by them
