Another hello post!
Well hello there
I'm Ajay (Amy Jane, to save confusion later on ) I'm a 21yo Wildlife Conservation student currently living in Nottingham, usually in Durham. I have arrived here on my quest from.. a different tortoise forum. I have wanted to share my home with a tortoise for a very long time and thought that now was an ideal time to do so. Having done my research and built my table (well, filled it up after my man made it ) I have now come to a halt. The place I was to get my long-awaited friend from was not the best place (thanks to Peter for pointing this out) and so I've put the anchors on and am still tortless but also still hopeful. Peter et al have also drawn to my attention the fact that so many tortoises are in need of rehoming, which, having rehomed all (bar my fish!) my various critters so far, I would be more than willing to do, and there are recommended breeders nationwide (well, ish) who can offer better history, advice and aftercare along with their stunning torts. So, now, here I am. Still waiting, but still learning and admiring everyone else's beautiful creatures in the mean time. Hi
