Default 2 New family members

I was fortunate to be able to get these 2 Desert Tortoises over the weekend. They are native species to Arizona and are very protected here. They cannot be bought, sold or even traded. They cannot be taken from the wild, however if someone already has one in posession they must remain in captivity, offspring can only be given away. I had to go through an interview on how I would provide care for them to be considered.
I gave them a quick bath so the would look nice for pictures. They are yearlings so they are still quite small, in the 3 inch range.

Beautiful tortoises, I'm sure they enjoyed the pampering before the photo shoot!
