I don't blame the foxes for behaving like foxes, they are only doing what comes naturally.
If you are worried about leaving your Tort out all night then it probably means that you are not 100% sure that your enclosure is fox proof.
I wouldn't leave mine out, as the foxes around here are rather ingenius, they even opened up my rabbit hutch door!!
They are stunning to watch though especially the cubs.

Hello.
I too am anxious about leaving my almost year old hermanns out all night. My garden is secure and I have an 8 foot fence surrounding it.
BUT I live right on the edge of some military ranges and know there are foxes around and they can scale the fence. They did last year and killed a neighbours guineas.
It won't hurt the torts to be brought in at night will it?

I don't know if I have foxes around my place or not but I just do not chance it, I have always locked them in at night, I know in the wild they have to take their chance but as much as I try to give a natural habitat they are captive and I will do all I can to protect them.
