You won't be chased down by O2 to sign up. Apple are trying to shift stock of them, hence why the price dropped. The new one is rumoured to be coming out between June/November and will be full 3G compliant, have a GPS system built in, better camera and a few other upgrades. In other words, it's what the iPhone should have been.

Still, the current one isn't ba and at 170 quid it's a bargain, since it's cheaper than the iPod Touch of a similar size!

Thanks Andrew, do you think youll sell yours before the 3g one comes out ? They are going top dollar on ebay unlocked, well over £240 ish
I love the iphone, sattelite cant do much without grps access, but emails are so quick compared to my SE k 800i, its fantastic.

My son has one of these. He bought it the day it came out. He loves it to bits, but the reception isn't the best around here. They are always updating it though. I thought he should have waited because altogether including the contract it will cost him around £1000.

That's nothing new tho - any contract phone is like that.

Yak, I doubt Sarah will sell. It does what she wants perfectly so there's little need. Maybe after the contract is up though...
