Wow Larrah! Can you paint a tortoise face though? lol
But go you on the youth work! Only thing I can stand doing with kids is talking at them (could be a zoo educator easily lol) and teaching them to ride horses - horsey kids don't answer back I'm afraid children tend to grind on me on my down days Try to avoid the yard on those occasions!

Very interesting, lots of very talented and clever people on SW!
Ok, well I'm a staff nurse, I've worked in all sorts of specialties - Spinal injuries, theatre, cosmetic surgery including gender reassignment (male to female), and worked on the worlds only flying teaching eye hospital. I've been to loads of countries, enjoy champagne, have green eyes (see its the eye thing again), love music and going to festivals. I'm kind but have a quick temper, and at present I'm stuck at home with a prolapsed bl**dy disc in my back. Can say about half a dozen phrases in Arabic and intend to take a course to learn more, having worked in Saudi for a year and worked with loads of arabic speaking Dr's.

Hi Toni,
You would'nt notice it unless it was pointed out to you. You won't find much online about it. The old fashioned term for for the condition is 'talbot finger' - I hope the medics do a good job with your daughter. |

ok my turn...
I knocked myself out and broke my nose within 1 1/2minutes of my first ever sailing lesson. My Second toes is bigger than my big toe (and I have been on crutches since before new year as a result of stubbing said toe). I can wiggle my middle finger side to side without moving my other fingers. And I'm going to become a Community First Responder (course is in next few weeks). paula

Pussygalore - no. It was a Topper when i was at college. Only ever had 3 sessions. I prefer a dinghy with outboard motor or cabin cruiser now!
Oh and Piercings - used to have one - "other" (upper body) before they became popular, took it out when i was pregnant. paula

Well I wouldn't call them talents, but here goes.
I am qualified to use a reach, counterbalance and rough terrain forklift, I hold a full driving licence for class B,C,F and H vehicles. I'm a fully qualified financial advisor, and mortage broker, and grade 6 driving instructor. I'm diabetic and have been for 3 years. And between me and the wife we used to own 9 handguns, and 4 rifles, until they banned handguns, and we gave up the sport, altho I occasinally clay pidgeon shoot if my mate asks me along, but I no longer own any guns not even an air rifle. And I have a tribal band tatoo on my right arm. |

Oh I forgot, and I can lick my own eyebrows, this may or may not be true.
But if the wife ever decides to get rid of me, it might be a handy rumour to have going around. |
