How much light after hibernation?
How long should the heat/uv be on when torts wake up from hibernation?
Poppy is up early (fridge temp malfunction) and has warmed up, bathed, weed, drank and is eating. I can't remember what I did last time...12 hours of light? Or longer like it's summer?

Hello Laura. ditto ! must be the warm southern weather. I am matching daylight hours when I can and sometimes will turn off after 4 hours for natural light. I am keeping warmth on though all day by way of a hear emitter. It is dropping to 10 at night so I am bringing indoors overnight now but my way shys away from the heat even now so sits in 10 degrees sometimes. Its hard to balance it. I would say try match day time light and keep to at least 22 - 26 degrees - enough to make sure comfortable and can process the food through....5 dogs wow ! jealous. CB
