Asda BULBS
Last night I got 3 bulbs for a £1, energy saving screw in ES27 ones, 20w that = 88w, handy if you want low cost extra light.
I see they now have energy savin spot bulbs and energy saving halogen bulbs, anyone know if they produce as much heat? |

Dont know ans to your question im afraid Alan but wanted to say I have two tables which meet in a corner (both cool ends) & it was so dark, especially by about 3.30 in the afternoon. I have added a low watt/energy bulb (equivalent to 100w) in one of those household clamp lamp holder things & its brill, throw off loads of light but no heat. & theyre cheap now too (compared to what they used to be)

Dont know about the spot ones but just been in & felt mine (sounds good!) and no heat until you put your hand on the actual bulb.
