Hiya
They are keeping her in all day trying to feed her with a tube and keep her warm
As u got to the vets her nose was a bit bubbly so I told him this and everything that's happened
He's phoning another reptile vet whose on leave to come and take a look at her as well
It doesn't look good, ive only had her since end of jan
I had also emailed the person I bought her from ( a friend of the breeder) and asked for some plastron pics last week
She replied saying the breeder said no
I'm thinking she's possibly wc
STRESSED

Sorry didn't add, he's going to try and treat her bubbles, he also mentioned kidneys but to be honest it was all a blur of panic

Hi Linds, so sorry she's poorly, hopefully you'll get some positive news from the vets later. Keeping fingers crossed for you.

Feeling for you and the tort pal - but why would the person you bought the tort off decline to help you with providing any pics as requested? Or was it a case that you were sold a supposed CB tort when really it is a wild one?

I may be totally wrong here so i will apologise in advance, but if i was selling torts (which i dont) i would want to help and try and resolve the issue asap - but thats just me

I was told she is cb and was happy to take what she said as factual but then any requests of pics etc have been turned down
Also I have emailed her and told get about what's happened and informed her that I don't think she's cb
Regardless of any of this my tortoise is sick and that's the main thing on my mind
