Musk Turtle
I'm in line to get a pair of Loggerhead Musk turtles from a friend but I still wanted to get a pair of Common Musks on my own.
Today it was raining(not really a common thing lately) so I took some back roads looking for Boxies and anything else that was on the move. I saw this gal not far from my home... She is the perfect size and has the greatest personality... I'm assuming it is a female... I 'saved' her when she was crossing a busy road.

I was going to say something like that. Right now it is in temporary quarters. When I get it's tank set up... I'll post some photos.

Are you saying you "rescued" her Ed?
Sorry, couldn't resist. Get a nest site ready if she was crossing roads mate. |

Saved... rescued... same thing. Without my divine intervention the turtle would have been a gonner. She is only about 3 inches SCL. I doulbt it but she could be.

I was wholly suprised when my three striped muds started laying at about that size. Only turtles I've been able to feel the eggs inside as they sit between the rear leg and the tail on each side.
