hello, i use the sand soil mix for my horsefields and my hermanns . I have one horsefield who i keep on beech chippings though as he cant be kept on sand etc for medical reasons. My outdoor enclosures are a mix of grassy areas, concrete, and sand/soil with pebbles, rocks, weeds etc.

Hi sorry think i misread your question, did you mean bedding or substrate? mine dont really have bedding as such they just dig little scrapes in the soil or go into their boxes which have sand/soil in them.

Hi,

My toirtoises inside their table live on Hemp / Aubiose, Sterlised Top Soil mixed with a little bit of playsand, and they also have a stone grave area too, helps keep their nails short.
