Young horsfield

As you may have seen from my other thread my boyfriend is treating me to a Horsfield. We were just wondering if anyone is selling hatchlings on here or knows of anyone/anywhere in the west midlands that is. We dont know where to go for the best really and dont want to just drive round to random pet shops hoping somewhere has one lol.

The best way to purchase a Horsefield or any other tortoise for that matter is to get a CAPTIVE BRED one. That way you know exactly what your getting.
Some (not all) pet shops/garden centres only stock WILD CAUGHT torts which are stressed to the max & may have untold health problems. Not forgeting the depletion of WILD tortoises.
I am sure if you make enquiries in/on Shelled Warriors someone will be able to help you.
Good luck You wont regret it Horsfields are such characters, I have 4 myself.

You can search back in the classified section for breeders selling horsfield hatchlings, there have been some recently but i cant remember who it was selling them, ill try and find out x

Just did a search and it was Jemma1 that was selling them really recently, so PM her as she may still have some left, not sure where she lives though X
