Can you get a good computer UPS...it may cut a couple of hours off the outage if the incubator wattage is not high.

No Alan, i think I am losing the plot. Someone hit and ran from my car yesterday ( not literally, they were driving) and I have all sorts of goings on going on at the moment and I seriously think i will be carted off very shortly by the men in white coats
