I tried accessing the site again last night, using a link provided above, and this time I seem to have had success - certainly a paypal payment went through anyway so I'll see if the book arrives now. Will let you know.

The book arrived yesterday and looks brilliant! It's just a pity I'm not going to get a chance to get into it until tonight at the earliest. Hope you have success with the online shop - it's a lot easier than when I first tried (and failed) to buy a copy.

I agree with Kirkie about these 2 great books, Holger Vetters and Wolfgangs'. Worth bearing mind though that both books insist that Hermanns must be kept in a naturalistic way, eating real plants and hibernating in the winter. And in these respects they are very different to a lot of advice given out on shelled warriors these days.
