Holiday help
What does everyone else do when they go on holiday, my daughter usually has my tortys but am going on holiday with her for week, I was told to just leave them in the garden, and yes I have done this overnight but not for a week, kennels offered to look after them but to be honest they would not know a torty from a turtle so thats a no, have asked ar=t vets with no luck, running out of options, anyone any ideas, I live in Suffolk.

I usually give my neighbour my door keys, explain to her what they need and give her some money. This way the tortoises can stay in their natural environment without having to transport them somewhere.

Well, I suppose it depends how much you feel you can trust your neighbours.

I do worry about mine when I go away but I leave my older kids instructions and have an aunt come round every other day to check.
I also ring home 2/3 times a day, lol

I have the same worries about when I go away as I won't have anyone to look after my two. I don't know what part of Suffolk you are from but I live in Colchester and I have looked into it and there is a reptile sitting company in Ardleigh, Colchester that look quite good, I haven't used them personally but maybe you could look into it. The website is - smallanimalsboarding.co.uk

So as I live quite close to Emilyjayne2012 (Felsted) would you be interested in being one of my "holiday buddies"?
