Default Thinking of getting a duckling.

We're thinking of buying a duckling but would like some advice first! Firstly do they make a great mess of your garden? (this is so I can get my mother to agree to look after it when we go away!), which breeds are flightless? Does anybody know of any kennel type places for ducks in the west midlands?! Can anybody point me to any care information sheets on the internet? Finally does anybody know where you can buy hatchling ducks from? Sorry for all the questions but want to make sure of things before we commit!
PS have seen pics of Sarahs daisy - shes fab!

Well you really need two ducks. I had one and she had to be with someone, when she was young her mum was a teddy and me. When we moved house we brought donald and she is very happy.

Yes they do make a mess in the garden, there are mud patches everywhere where they have been walking.

You need to think of night time where are they going to sleep? we have a metal shed.
