I bought some coco-coir today from Ikea.
How long do I need to soak it for? And.... How much water does it need to soak in please? Thank you xx

Hello, mine says 3L of water, I use warm water, and I do it a litre at a time.
So I put the block in a bucket, pour on a litre and mix as much as I can, I do this three times obviously. Then I usually put it all in his cage and finish breaking up any of the dry bits. Hope this helps! |

I do about the same as Rachael, although I find about 2 1/2 litres of water is enough, but as Rachael says add litre at a time, break it up as it soaks up the water.

I do it in one of those rubbery garden tub things. I put half the water over it then break it up and put the rest on then mix it up
