Default A Weight Question

Hi guys
As some of you may know, my Speedy needs to gain some weight. He is new to me and so Im only just taking over his care and after weighing him I was advised (on here) that he is on the light side (around 515g at 6/7 years old) and was told what to do to get some weight on him.
I am doing the right things by him and he is happy, active but also nice and relaxed and eats well. I have slowly moved over to a more natural diet of weeds and flowers (he is used to broccoli and cauliflower and cress and greens and occasional grass previous to coming to live with me) and he seems to love it and he is also getting some softened nuggets a couple of times a week (and only a few) as instructed.
The thing is, he isn't gaining weight. How fast should he be gaining weight?
As I say, he eats well, but he just hasn't gained any weigh at all.
Any advice?
Thanks.

Have you had a worm count done, it might be worth doing.

No, there is usually some left over.
How do I get him checked for worms?

http://www.wormcount.com/

Go on here and get a worm kit, it's about £8 ,
When you get your worm kit, send off a poo sample and they will email the results to you, it's very easy to understand the results. Worth doing.

Well, I have had my Speedy for a few weeks now and he is really coming out of his shell, so to speak lol
He was getting very picky with his food and seeming a bit down, comfy with me, but not so chirpy.
So as I was advised, I got some good pellet food for him and I soak it to soften it and he nibbled a bit, but not so very thrilled with it. He was getting the same way with his regular food (weeds, flowers etc). I thought ah sod it, Ill mulch up some of the softened pellets with some chopped up rocket and broccoli and the rest (dandelion etc) and put it in for him, fully expecting for him to just turn his nose up at it. How wrong could I be!?! He pepped up, stormed over to it and attacked it with the enthusiasm of a lion chomping down a gazelle! To say he enjoys it with gusto would be an understatement lol Ill try and get a video of how enthusiastic he is.
He seems so much more relaxed in general now that he has a full tummy and looks so chilled out and comfortable, hell he even now sleeps with his head out and lay on the ground lol he is so very relaxed and happy and seems to be really quite fond of me.
Obviously I am not going to overdo it with the pellets, but as he needs to gain a good 200g or so, I will let him enjoy his mush without too much guilt, just not at the cost of his regular diet, that is the bulk of it.
He is already beginning to gain some weight, slowly but surely, which is great, because he had seemed to be losing weight and slowing right down, now he has energy and enthusiasm and I am thrilled.
He is a lovely little character, he seems to enjoy his bath time, seems to enjoy being petted by me and is just so damn handsome.
I feel so proud and that I am doing the right things that seem to be making him contented in his new home. All he did at his last home was just sit there with his head in and sleeping, I think the change has done him good and he seems happy.
Im just ordering a worm count kit to check how he is that way, but he is gaining weight, is relaxed and content, all good signs right?
I have turned in to a proper little forager too when I am out and about, looking for suitable food for him hehe
