redfoot weight formula

i'd thought i'd pop up the formula for redfoots weight,

carapace length cubed (in cm) X 0.191 = min weight of redfoot

people may already know this but i find that i keep forgetting

Where did this come from Porter? Do you know who did the research?

"Straight-line Carapace Length (SCL) in centimeters, cubed, times 0.191 equals the expected minimum weight." (Dr. Susan Donoghue, 1997)
