Never say never
Late September one of our Ibera's decided she was going to dig down for the winter. Despite looking for her we had to give up and hope that she had not escaped from the enclosure. 6 months later and on a freezing cold day she has decided to surface.
She had dug down in her enclosure and was covered in mud. Thank goodness we spotted her as its freezing here today, goodness knows why she decided to come out today. Two baths later and a long drink she is back under the heat lamp and started eating the minute she went back in. We were hoping for the best, but with the wet winter we didn't hold out much hope. Just goes to show you should never give up hope. |

Fantastic news! I felt desperate when I couldn't find one of mine to bring in overnight so to wait this long you must have been very worried. I can imagine how happy you were when you spotted her today.
Enjoy!! |
