Yes that would be fine for light, it would also help generate a background U.V but try to make sure it's fitted from above. Personally I prefer linear tubes but in certain circumstances the compact does a good job.

Later this year we have more revolutionary new lines coming out which would help in this sort of circumstance.

I'm using an old Exo Terra Repti Glo 10.0 atm - but thought the Arcadia looked a better compact. Thanks
